It's Leslie here, writing from Canada where we're having a very cold and snowy winter. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team and I notice that you've put a beautiful poster about plants on your blog. I think you might really enjoy some of the Summer Learning Journey activities because they look at the plants and animals that are unique to New Zealand, and some that are unique to other countries. Many of the activities invite you to be creative too, to make a poster or to create a picture story about yourself. Many of your classmates are participating so you could share your blog postings with them, as they would share theirs. Very fun!
The theme of the Journey is "The World Around Us" - there's so much to learn about and so many people you could participate with! I'll look for your postings and write back to you from my little town in Ontario, Canada. So here is the website: www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz
