We did an experiment on density.

Question:what happens when you drop an egg into ordinary drinking water and an egg into the salt water?

Observation:

1.the egg in the glass of ordinary water sinked to the bottom.

2.the egg in the salt water floated.

Conclusion:

This happens because saltwater is denser or heavier than ordinary water.it was easier for the egg to float.

fitness club

Room ten had an exciting fitness lesson today with Mrs Raj. We were learning about compass directions-North, South, East, West, NE, NW, SE, SW. We did some star jumps, jumping, hopping and touching our toes after each direction we moved to. We got tired after a while.

Geometrical fitness

Today with Mrs Raj we went out to our school netball courts to make some geometrical shapes with our bodies. We were split into two groups of nine.

We did fitness and learned about geometrical shapes. We made a triangle, a square and a circle. The square was a really easy shape to make.

After we made all the shapes with our bodies then we had to tell Mrs Raj three facts about the shapes we made with our bodies. When we finished we ran around the courts two times and then came back to the classroom. It was tiring but it was really fun.
